Education:  Juris Doctor, New York University, 1980; Bachelor of Arts, Magna Cum Laude, with Honors, Wesleyan University, 1976. Fellow, Thomas J. Watson Foundation, 1976-77 (British Labor Policy).
ADR Experience: Mr. Marinello is a highly experienced arbitrator. He has served for many years as an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association (Complex Commercial Case Panel) and the Financial Industry Regulation Authority (“FINRA”) and to date has handled more than 100 arbitrations. As counsel, he also has presented arbitration cases before the AAA, FINRA and the Chicago Board Options Exchange. Mr. Marinello regularly attends arbitrator training workshops and conferences.
General Experience: Mr. Marinello has been with Novack and Macey for more than 20 years. He was Managing Partner of the firm from 1994 to 2004. Mr. Marinello practices in the field of commercial litigation and regularly handles disputes involving contracts, real estate, partnerships and employment matters. Before joining Novack and Macey, Mr. Marinello was an associate with Windels, Marx, Davies and Ives in New York City and then with Levy & Erens in Chicago.
Publications: Mr. Marinello has published extensively in the areas of commercial litigation and contract and employment law. He has also recently published a work on arbitration with the American Bar Association In-House Litigator, “Protecting the Natural Cost Advantages of Arbitration.”
