James D. Wangelin

ADR Experience: Counsel for major insurers, excess insurers and reinsurers in numerous arbitrations involving $10 to 100 million in coverage each; have also mediated many cases.

General Experience: Mr. Wangelin is a partner in Sedgwick's Chicago office. His practice has been concentrated in litigation, at both the trial and appellate levels and in arbitration. His experience includes insurance coverage litigation for London, Bermuda and domestic insurers and reinsurers. He also handles professional liability matters, particularly in the healthcare and legal fields, and general commercial litigation. He has tried or argued cases or appeals in various jurisdictions and has arbitrated matters in both international and domestic forums.
