His clients have included AK Steel Corporation, DeVry, Credit Suisse First Boston, Frontier Corporation, the Northern Trust Bank, Household International, Comdisco, J.P. Morgan Chase Bank, and Nabisco Corporation. He has represented such clients in matters covering many substantive areas of the law, including commercial banking, breach of contract, securities fraud and insider trading, patent law and trademark infringement, trade secrets, employee noncompete and confidentiality agreements, antitrust, and product liability claims. Served on Republican National Committee's Advisory Council on National Security and International Affairs; Past-President of the Chicago Lincoln Inn of Court; Past Chair of the Chicago Bar Association International and Foreign Law Committee, and Federal Practice Committee; Member of the American Law Institute, and the American Bar Association (Litigation, Antitrust, and International Sections); Member of the Chicago Council on Global Affairs. A statewide lawyers survey published in Chicago magazine ranked Mr. Baugher one of the top attorneys in Illinois each year for the last decade.
