Dear CIDRA Friends:

We are pleased to announce that our good friend, Ramon Mullerat will speak on the state of the New York Convention in light of the possible revisions of UNCITRAL and the American Law Institute's Restatement of the Law of International Commercial Arbitration.

Mr. Mullerat is counsel at KPMG in Barcelona, Spain. He also is a Member of the Advisory Panel of Integrity Interactive Corporation. In addition to being a former law professor at Barcelona University and an adjunct professor of the John Marshall Law School, Chicago, Mr. Mullerat has held many distinguished positions including the Presidency of the Council of the Bars and Law Societies of the European Union (CCBE), Co-Chair of the Human Rights Institute of the International Bar Association (IBA), and Chairman of Commission 2020 of the International Bar Association (IBA). Mr. Mullerat is a world-renowned author and speaker, and an expert in international commercial arbitration.
